    • Possession of Drugs for Sale & Gang Allegation - Drug Crimes Case Dismissed
    • People v. N.D. - Manslaughter and DUI Causing Death/Injury No Jail Time

      N.D. was arrested at the scene of a traffic collision resulting in the death of a passenger and serious injury to another passenger. N.D. was facing the reality of being convicted of a felony and serving an extensive amount of time in custody. He was charged with several felonies (Manslaughter and DUI Causing Death/Injury) and turned to Michael Holmes for help. After Mr. Holmes was done, N.D. was able to resolve the case for NO JAIL and NO PRISON.

    • People v. M.B. - Murder Not Guilty Verdict

      M.B. was arrest after being accused of fatally stabbing a man between 22 and 27 times. Among other things, M.B. was subsequently charged with first degree murder, and was facing the possibility of spending the rest of his life in prison. Mr. Holmes was retained to represent M.B., and the case eventually went to trial. Although the first trial ended in a mistrial, Mr. Holmes was able to obtain a NOT-GUILTY verdict on the first degree murder charge in the second trial.

    • People v. R.C. - Drug Crimes Case Dismissed

      Police stopped R.C. for a vehicle code violation. After the officers stopped him, they searched his vehicle and found approximately 150 pounds of drugs inside of his vehicle. R.C. was arrested and charged with Possession for Sale/Transportation of approximately 150 pounds of illegal drugs. Facing significant prison time, R.C. hired Michael Holmes to represent him in court. Mr. Holmes obtained all of the police reports and other discovery, and was able to get the entire case dismissed after filing legal papers arguing law enforcement violated R.C.’s Constitutional rights.

    • People v. C.A. - Felonies Probation

      C.A. was a “3-Striker” that was arrested and charged with arson, after being accused of setting his ex-girlfriend’s house on fire. C.A., facing the rest of his life in prison, hired Mr. Holmes to represent him. After Mr. Holmes obtained all of the reports and discovery related to the case, Mr. Holmes was able to get C.A. probation, and he was immediately released from jail.

    • People v. B.M. - DUI Case Dismissed

      B.M. was a non-commissioned officer in the military, stationed in Southern California. While driving his vehicle, B.M. was involved in a major motor vehicle accident. Because law enforcement found B.M. to be “impaired” when he was driving his vehicle, and the collision resulted in significant injuries (fractured arm) to the driver of the other vehicle, B.M was arrested and charged with Felony DUI – causing injury. After B.M. hired Mr. Holmes to represent him, Mr. Holmes obtained all of the police reports and other discovery and was able to get the entire DUI dismissed!

    • People v. R.C. - Robbery / Theft Not Guilty Verdict

      R.C. worked for a construction company and was accused of stealing nearly $40,000.00 from his employer. After signing an “apology letter,” confessing to the crime and agreeing to pay the owner back, R.C. was arrested and subsequently charged with felony Grand Theft and Embezzlement from his employer. Facing 5 years in State Prison, B.M. hired R.C. to represent him in Court. At the initial court hearing, the prosecutor made an offer of 5 years in State Prison. Mr. Holmes obtained all of the police reports and other discovery, conducted an extensive investigation related to the accusation, and subsequently set the matter for trial. After the case was submitted to the jury, a verdict of Not-Guilty was returned, and R.C.’s life returned to normal.

      M.R. was arrested for armed robbery after being accused of robbing a store with a knife.     • People v. N.G. - Robbery / Theft NO JAIL or PRISON TIME

      N.G. worked for a local company for several years, and was accused of stealing/embezzling approximately $400,000.00 from her employer. During an interview with her employer, N.G. is said to have acknowledged stealing from her employer, and agreed to pay the money back to her employer. With law enforcement claiming they had a “confession,” N.G. was arrested and charged with felony theft/embezzlement. N.G. immediately retained Michael Holmes to represent her in Court. After N.G. received a state prison offer from the prosecutor, Mr. Holmes obtained all of the police reports, other investigation documents, and interviewed each of the witnesses, he subsequently set the matter for Jury Trial. As a result of the investigation conducted by Mr. Holmes, the case was resolved with N.G. receiving NO JAIL or PRISON TIME at all.

      T.W. was accused of, and subsequently arrested for, felony child abuse. T.W. was facing over 5 years in State Prison, and retained Michael Holmes to represent him in court. Mr. Holmes was able to get the felony case dismissed, and T.W. was able to get his life back, without having to spend any time in prison/jail and without having a felony on his record.

    • People v. A.F. - Sex Crimes Case Dismissed

      A.F., a Veteran of the U.S. Military, was accused of rape, arrested and subsequently charged with rape. Facing approximately a decade in prison, a lifetime of registration as a sex offender, A.F. retained Michael Holmes to represent him in court. After initially receiving an offer that included prison and registration as a sex offender, Mr. Holmes conducted an extensive investigation, interviewing all witnesses, visiting the alleged crime scene, and prepared the case for trial. After disclosing most of the investigation to the prosecutor, the rape charges were dismissed, never stepping foot back in jail and not being required to register as a sex offender.

      J.B. was accused of being a member of a criminal street gang and assault with a deadly weapon, with a gang allegation, and many other charges stemming from alleged participation in a criminal street gang and violent acts against community members. J.B. was facing nearly 20 years in prison when his family retained Michael Holmes to represent him in court. M.H. was able to find several legal issues with the case, and used those legal issues to get J.B. probation. J.B. was immediately released from the county jail and avoided any additional consequences.
